Fajita Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 yellow onion cut into semi circles
  • 1 jalapeño cut into small circles
  • 1 green pepper cut into small strips
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 4 buns
  • mayonnaise to taste
  • mustard to taste

Instructions

  • Pre-heat your smoker to 350 degrees.
  • Add cheddar cheese into beef and form into 4 equal sized patties.
  • Place patties on grill.
  • Add cut up onion, jalapeños, and green pepper to a pan with butter. Cook over medium until sautéed. Set aside and keep warm.
  • Remove patties from grill when the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F. Place on a plate to let rest for 5 minutes.
  • Assemble your burger by adding mayonnaise mustard, and fajita vegetable topping to bun. Add the patty and enjoy.
